I've seen way too many posts here by various members which I will not name bragging on each other and trolling.
Why are "you people" being negative? If you don't like the bitcoin market or have nothing valuable to contribute, just leave?

Is it really that hard? Were all mature here (well hopefully most of us) but I just don't get why you are all picking fights. Are you seriously that bored?

This p2p bitcoin community was made so we can exchange ideas, grow as a community, NOT THE OPPOSITE! Get a-hold of yourself.

I don't mean to rant but I had to get this off my chest, "you people now make me sick". So much for a FREE MARKET. I guess we just have to put up or shut up with you idiots.

Let's keep bitcoin alive and stay off eachothers nuts, thanks.

I think the best technique to "dismantle" BitCoin is to instill a sense of panic and mistrust.  Just don't feed into that and the project should be able to stay on track.  For anyone serious about contributing to the bitcoin project, I would recommend they simply ignore frantic behavior (let the fanatics eat themselves) and/or try and calmly resolve misconceptions that foster furvor.

Wez: [after someone is killed] *No!* *No more talk!* We go in! We kill! Kill! We kill 'em! They kill us, we kill them! Kill 'em! Kill 'em! Kill! Kill!
The Humungus: Be still my dog of war. I understand your pain. We've all lost someone we love. But we do it my way!
Wez: Losers... losers wait!
The Humungus: We do it my way. Fear is our ally. The BitCoins will be ours. Then you shall have your revenge.
[Wez passes out]
The Humungus: Take him away.
[soldiers drag Wez away; Humungus grabs intercom]
The Humungus: There has been too much violence. Too much pain. But I have an honorable compromise. Just walk away. Give me your mining rigs, the GPUs, the Bitcoins, and the whole compound, and I'll spare your lives. Just walk away and we'll give you a safe passageway in the wastelands. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.
[Soldiers start up their vehicles]
The Humungus: I await your answer. You have a full day to decide.

Its the usual uninformed people ranting and such. New users who don't understand things fully, etc...

I find most of it nonsensical, the predictions of bitcoin's decline, exchanges being boycotted, protest against rollbacks, demands for more regulation of something that can't be regulated.

Through the noise there is some signal. The senior members who know the future is more than a few days, its months and years and decades. After having been through a few financial events myself, from early crashes in the market (before the May flash-crash, mind you) to the CDO debacle, I understand how the pattern works out.

If these events cause people to lose faith and fall out, I'm not worried - I have plenty of uses for the coins they'll leave behind Smiley

My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called "c-rock". To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time. When the world was powered by BTC. And the Internet sprouted great cities of 1s and 0s. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten, warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without BTC, they were nothing. They built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the Intenet it was a white line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the exchanges, ready to wage war for a BTC. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed. Men like c-rock. The warrior c-rock. In the roar of an overclocked GPU, he lost everything. And became a shell of a man, a burnt out, desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again...

TraderTimm, do you think the pattern is remaining the same (for the most part) but amplified?  How has it changed?

they are trolls probably because they bought at the top and have lost a lot of money.  They have no one to blame but themselves, but instead they want to blame bitcoins for their poor decisions.  Since bitcoin is not a person, they come here to spew garbage, to channel their anger

In times of extreme pessimism, the market tends to surprise and astonish. And that goes for any traded market, not just bitcoin.

Agreed. This can serve as a way to prune out the people we don't want here anyways.

Very well said! I think people are just really afraid of the truth and are not open to idea ideas.

I'm glad I'm apart of this community and apart of a wonderful project that has been created.
The rest is up to us to determine its future and I'll be here supporting it to the end.
