In this case, I'll follow your step but I choose currency ( $ ) not cryptocurrency. My opinion currency has stable volume and price action today, not like btc with all speculation in this month make me lost faith. For me, bitcoin is a good investment even has lower price today. I hope it will rise up again next month. Good luck.

BTC isn't going to split and in the event of serious problems for bitcoin its going to crash the altcoin market anyway so if you really wanted to sell out you should opt for tether.

Not correct, where did you get that information? Moderator theymos opened a thread saying that split is still possible with low possibility. So we can't see something clear about this.

Yes,in any way the recommendation said by him is that  do not send transactions or trust received transactions starting 12 hours before Aug 1 at midnight UTC and continue this until everybody hear the all clear from several trustworthy sources  if everything is OK he will announce that, or if everything is not OK and action is required He will also announce it,what I do not know is if there is any countdown available for that hour.

I think that the people that use the MLM's and the other scam websites that feature some sort of coin reward program online is attached to the concept of coins splitting.

Altcoins don't do that as much compared to coins on those websites. Bitcoin is not going to split, the price of it may get affected since the people that are holding it are worried that the price of the coin may go lower or it may go higher.

We can already wish R.I.P for all the altcoins that won't survive August 1st in case a crash or a really toll on price of bitcoin happens. As we see that altcoin prices are directly dependent on bitcoin performance and we enjoy when there is a small percentage of gain in bitcoin price as the altcoin then gain twice as much, but if the crash or a panic or whatever price disaster happen around August 1st some of the alts will drop so much and people sell them with panic attack, I can see most of them never be able to recover. But maybe that's also an opportunity to pick up some for 1 cent hoping that when everything settle down it will come to high prices again.

I think "bitcoin unlimited" is better than segwit. Yes or not?
Becouse it more undestandable.
Segwit it fail try to prevent BITCOIN CLASSIC existince.
Segwit posible to do with litecoin, becouse litecoin have almost empty blocks, and in fact have zero segwit style transactions.
But segwit imposible with BITCOIN, becouse segwit style transactions will be detected like double spend by BITCOIN CLASSIC miners very fast (1 or 2 blocks) and new blockchain will be regected.
