Hi All.

Noticed there wasn't a Vertcoin P2Pool node in the UK, so I fixed it!

For miners with hashrate > 100MH/s
http://errantshed.co.uk:9171/static/

For miners with hashrate < 100MH/s
http://errantshed.co.uk:9181/static/

0% Fees, 24/7 uptime, with a UPS backed rock-solid server.

Settings for AMD GPU mining:

SGMINER: "sgminer -k Lyra2REv2 -o stratum+tcp://errantshed.co.uk:9171 -u Your_VTC_PayoutAddress -p x"
SGMINER: "sgminer -k Lyra2REv2 -o stratum+tcp://errantshed.co.uk:9181 -u Your_VTC_PayoutAddress -p x"

https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/releases/download/5.6.1/sgminer-5.6.1-nicehash-51-windows-amd64.zip

Settings for NVIDIA GPU mining:

CCMINER: "ccminer -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://errantshed.co.uk:9171 -u Your_VTC_PayoutAddress -p x"
CCMINER: "ccminer -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://errantshed.co.uk:9181 -u Your_VTC_PayoutAddress -p x"

https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/download/1.5.81/release81.7z

Setting for CPU mining (unless you have a mega CPU from the future, you'll probably want the 2nd pool!):

CPUMINER: "cpuminer -a lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://errantshed.co.uk:9171 -u Your_VTC_PayoutAddress -p x"
CPUMINER: "cpuminer -a lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://errantshed.co.uk:9181 -u Your_VTC_PayoutAddress -p x"

https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi/releases/download/v1.3.1-multi/cpuminer-multi-rel1.3.1-x64.zip

Please give it a try and let me know if you have any issues, and I'll try and resolve ASAP!

Any comments/suggestions welcome

Cheers,

Graysters

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Hi There,

A quick heads-up to the miner with VTC payout address: <Removed as it's been corrected now!>. This address appears to be incorrect, you'll need to correct this before you can receive any shares or payouts from your miner!

I've also put this note on the p2pool page: http://errantshed.co.uk:9171/static/ in the hope that the miner sees this and corrects sooner rather than later!

Don't want people missing out!

Cheers,

Graysters

Looks like the miner has fixed the address!

Node is running and stable for over 1 month now, currently with 5 miners with a combined ~600MH/s!

Everyone else is more than welcome to join us!

I've added a second pool on the 2nd VTC network, designed for miners with a lower hashrate (less than 100MH/s) here:

http://errantshed.co.uk:9181/static/

miners with a higher hashrate (more than 100MH/s), can use this pool:

http://errantshed.co.uk:9171/static/

Running on the same 24/7 up-time highly reliable, low-ping UPS backed server in the UK, all with 0% fees!!

Any issues, let me know.

Cheers,

I connected to the 9181 pool with 1 MH / s and after 2 days I still see "no shares yet" in "Predicted payout".
I do not have enough hashes for the pool?
