Now that the difficulty is set to 596.887 will LTC miners move to mining BTC?  Coinchoose reports that LTC is now a few points less profitable than BTC.

LOL, you seriously think people are going to go "I support litecoin even through it's so outdated and there's no active development going on!"

Bitcoin diff is going up tomorrow, so no. There are other alt-coins that are reporting higher profit margins than either BTC or LTC that will likely soak up some of the hashes from LTC until the diff drops again.

I will still mine LTC even if there will be 50% less profit than BTC, there is a future for it , I just wish if there would be more developers involved .

seigniorage, mining now may not be as profitable, but this does not mean you can't sell what you do get for a greater profit that you could mining BTC now.

So some miners will take the long view some wont. Further ASICS are comming and they will force GPU's out, so a scrypt coins will be mined by a large base

Also where had Coblee and LTC dev gone???
