$CRAVE is another power house masternode. It only requires only 500 coins for a masternode with great payout. I expect this to be even better than $CHC in the upcoming days. This might even hit $10. Only 1M in supply.

You could be wrong here...
Seems like there is a whole bunch of rich-kid newbies out there with of loads money in their pockets to spend on long forgotten/dead/scam coins.
I'm here since 2014, and many of us have a history in crypto dating back even further, we know what happened during the last 4 to 5 years.
The newbies don't... it's almost impossible to read every topic here on Bitcointalk.

Today I saw (to my surprise) that NTRN was pumping to 20K...
I could remember that I used to have some in a wallet on one of my old USB's (since they were worthless for over 2 years).
I was able to sell them for roughly 3BTC, probably to one of those newcomers, thinking it was the latest new coin.

We all made mistakes on the road which led to where we are now... most newcomers will make the same mistakes...

That's the point on cryptos. It doesn't really matter what your background is - your experience in this universe is capital. Each month I feel my last month's decisions could have been improved if only I knew the market better.

Maybe Crave will resurrect but it's true many newbies will be burnt out in the way.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I was looking into the masternode hype and most these masternode coins seem to be pretty shitty. There's nothing really innovative besides them being a masternode and I dont think that's enough to push it to the next step.

They have a new Dev and team, it has no comnnection whatsoever with the previous dev etc.
Just look into the thread Crave - Revival for more information and planned features in the coming weeks.
It's going gto be a complete rebrand Smiley

if you look at Github you can see that the dev is working his ass off for this project: https://github.com/CooleRRSA

I'm pretty optimistic about Crave now - what are the possible dangers apart from a big sell off?

The wallet and node software seems pretty good, the dev is adding features and fixing bugs and the economics are interesting because with say 14 masternodes you can get another 2 masternodes per month, and it works like a snowball where long term holders can build out their part of the coin release space over time if they're prepared to hold on and add MNs as the payouts reach 500.

Or am I missing something? Thanks.

A big sell off just happened to occur and it's still good? What makes this different from any of those Masternode coins just popping up all over the place? On the subject of resurrected coins, won't anyone like to share with me how you can detect which coins will suddenly pump for the "newcomers" to buy?

I have a bunch of different masternode coins and the Crave wallet and node software is rock solid (low memory use, stable running) compared to some of the others (NTRN especially) so in that sense it's a good coin.

To me this coin is different because of the low coin supply (1.34M) and the low masternode entry cost in terms of number of coins required and the reward generation speed.  In theory you can get new masternodes from the rewards, which most other MN coins couldn't achieve..  eg PIVX  with 10K required would take years for the MN rewards to add up to a new node.

This exactly the same sentence was made in CloakCoin thread multiple times. And nobody believed that Cloak after Bob can survive. Even Bob bullied Cloak on one radio show when clock was around 3k. This years Cloak jumped over 400k which i believe is really surprise.
So never ever underestimate coins with good communities!

Master nodes are very popular, and if Crave community can deal with its challenges they will attract more people for sure. And success is guaranteed. It is community project now, and as such is more interesting than others..

Yes I was wondering why more people aren't running masternodes already, it beats mining..  But I can now see the risk in BTC doing a moon shot and the alt coins getting dumped at any price.

POW is still very strong because mining is still very important for many coins, and this won't be changed soon. But master nodes are cheap alternative how you can invest and been paid for this investment, without creating big electricity bills in this case. This is perfect and becoming more popular, but as always we will have hundreds of coins with masternodes over night.

What is the best masternode coin out there at the moment in your opinion? Crave seems like one of the best ones in my view without even trying too hard..
