I decided to mine some ltc with my cpu while mining btc with my gpu's and noticed my btc hash rate was faster by about 15-25 Mh/s and more stable! I have no idea what the the benefits of this are, considering my cpu is water cooled, my radiator fans must be be taking away any gain I get from this lol. It might be different if your cpu is not water cooled though Tongue. I was mining the ltc with 5 of my 6 cores, even with 1 core selected I am still gaining the same benifits. I'm sure this has been mentioned before, or it's just a normal thing that happens, some might not know this though, maybe try and see what gains you get!

For how long did you run before and after LTC? Maybe just a statistical fluke?

I noticed 20 mins before I made this post. I have just been out for about 2 hours and it's still a nice stable 615 Mh/s (7970) and my 5770 is 210 Mh/s. I'm sure if iI stopped the cpu mining ltc it would be an unsteady 587 to 605 Mh/s (7970) and 178-187 Mh/s (5770).

Temps for the cards at this current state are 7970 - 72 °C and 5770 - 64 °C (fans are auto at around 55-60, My PC is next to an open window though)
