Basically today I tried to switch my miner over to terracoin, but it seems when I put it on a SHA256 coin it doesn't get any accepted or rejected shares and only ramps up to 30% ish usage.

In the pic you can see on the far right 100% usage where litecoin mining is run, then the 30% where othercoins refuse to miner properly. Whats up here?

Thanks for any help

Hey Tom, sorry I can't help you as I'm not familiar with Terracoin (and in the future you might want to avoid using postimg.org as they tend to use pornographic ads).  Also I know it's a bit "messier" over there, but this post needs to be in the Bitcoin Forum > Other > Alternate cryptocurrencies section of the site.  I'm sure you will also get a quicker response if you put Terracoin in the title.

Lastly you might want to e-mail coinotron@gmail.com if you can't find answers elsewhere.  They don't have their own IRC channel (not sure why), but coinotron said he is normally available on the #litecoin channel on freenode.

Lastly they have an ongoing BCT post here.  Good luck!
