Based on my own experience ICO is indeed one of the best ways to invest. It is really good but the risk is also great. First you must be certain that the ICO that you will enter into is a legitimate one, because there are already scam ICO nowadays. Do your research first before joinIng any ICO, always remember that in cryptocurrency you cannot blame anyone for incorrect decision. It is all up to you so better be prepared in anything that you do.

I agree... research is ur best defense on scam coins.. but if its a good and legit company who wants to come up with a good product,  then joining the ico pays off very well once it hits the exchanges.

That is the best way to limit or avoid ICO scam upon investing in a certain project make at least tight research and investigate if this ICOs are not scam then if you found it good then invest on that certain ICO project.

I dont think its the best way to invest because there are many scams in most ico's today and many of them are roaming around the forum on altcoin bounty section so you better watch out before you join any ico and i can say that its better to invest in bitcoin or altcoins rather than investing on ico's that looks proming.
