currently I think ICO is not good to follow because the price in the market is cheaper than ICO price especially in the delta ether, it is now very difficult to get a good ICO and can give a profit.

ICO is one good way to invest, we have many other ways to invest and have better reward. The more exposed you are, the more you understand the scopes.looking into the scale of each project, you see  just 2 percent on bounties. Think of the mining, trading and others. That's even if you want it compulsorily on internet. Bringing it out of internet. There are places where this organizations make there money to pay up for the ICOs. Which means there are many other better investment. But ICOs is not bad too

Agreed, ico too is one among the way to invest and get rewarded based on the growth achieved by the particular project. There were lot many opportunities available for investors to make use of and get profited. With ico too, we cannot say everything leads to profiting. Here also risk is associated with the same. User needs to be lucky or should know better about the project and invest to get good return for the investment.

Not anymore, the ico market right now is full of greedy developer that want to collect as much money as possible and flippers who want to multiply their money without even knowing what they invested into. These two will caused more supply than demand in the market and makes the price drop even further. It used to be a good way to invest as dev collect a sufficient money for the project, investor read the whitepaper, believe in the project and want to hold for sometime. It's better to research good ico and wait for it to hit exchange if you want to invest.

the first time i tried to invest, as the newbie i was, i sent 1 bitcoin ( 2k$ worth at the time ) to an INTcoin ICO.

now INTcoin website show "error 404". wonder why huh ??


ICO are scam 80% of times now. unless you REALLY know what you do, i would suggest to never invest in ICOs.

I would invest in only a handful ones with verifiable teams. Preferably, if they have a working product it is much better.

As you know, it is very easy to start an ICO with the help of smart contracts and shiny websites, graphics.

This is getting less common and the few that have those characteristics have unrealistic expectations I have seen some projects that have something to show for so you know they are not a scam but they are asking for hundreds of millions of dollars in their ico and that is not going to happen.

I couldn't agree more. Project can be very successful and token price can skyrocket or project can fail and people will lose their investment because token price will drop. There is third option - token value could remain the same.
Isn't it like that with all investments?

I don’t think it’s the best way to make money from here. Yes they can be very profitable but  since we have so many scams ICOs are not that attractive anymore. I prefer alt coin trading.

I think ICO is the best way for people new to crypto to invest into really good products at an early stage.

I only got active couple months ago but got in on good things like icon, wanchain, cindicator, Raiden, eventchain, powerledger, quantstamp and gladius.

And really good things around the corner like wabi, gonetwork or loci.

Just dont rush into anything. Do your research. I advised to watch the Ian Balina videos on youtube to have a first guide what kind of information to look for if you are interested in a project.
