A documentary series about “the minds behind the blockchains” is being produced under the sponsorship of a leading South American film production company, and its first teaser has been revealed. Six episodes are scheduled to be released for free in November, and interviewees so far include leading figures of the Ethereum and Bitcoin communities.

Paratii initiative, developing an embeddable video player on top of p2p components to enable disintermediated content delivery and economic flows on any web page. They will release a full-length feature on this platform next year, but before that, still this autumn, a string of episodes will be released for free on traditional outlets.
The episodes feature interviews with Gavin Wood (Parity); Simon de la Rouviere (ConsenSys); Viktor Trón (ethereum); Charlie Shrem and Anthony Di Iorio (Jaxx); Alexey Akhunov, Aron Fischer (Colony), Alex Van de Sande (ethereum) and more. Content is focused on the human side of technology, with topics ranging from the social impact of specific protocols to the moral burdens of creating things you can’t truly control.
The series strengthens a movement that’s already shining light on decentralized currencies from angles that are palatable to the mainstream: the movie Blockchain and Us, Techcrunch’s Trust Disrupt Series and Status’ Ethereum Interview Series are some examples.
“Narratives are always beneficial to technology “, the team states. “And the moment we’re going through now, in the realm of large scale blockchains, with such diversity of people collaborating and conflicting, is a very interesting one to live. We’re taking part in maybe what’s the most impactful social experiment ever been played on the internet. That’s definitely a story worth the effort of telling”.
