sunfire v100 and v120 viable?

Hi, I'm very new to bitcoins and i have a question

At my local college i have a sunfire v100 and  sunfire v120 running debian (sarc processor architecture) would it be viable to putin the work of setting up these machines for mining?
we have no costs at all for running these machines and they are unused at the moment, but before we gain acces to the serverroom to conifgure them we have to make appointments and stuff and we would be buzy for quite some time so it would be quite helpfull of someone could tell us straight away if this setup wouldn't be worth the work we have to put in it.

we also have about 6 pentium 4's (no gpu's) and another small server running win ser 2003 (not sure about the hardware in this one), and if usefull we can dedicate an intel i7 920 with a gtx 295 on an asus rampage formula 2 motherboard with 6 gigs of kingstom hyperx at 2100 mhz aswel.

ideally we would be trying to have a small but steady income for our studentsclub since the school are trying to cut off all funding and all we would be left with is free electricity and old hardware.

if someone has any comments or could provide any advice it would be greatly apreciated, we were thinking about trying to get python running on the servers and linux pc's.

If you've got free energy and the hardware is just collecting dust, go for it, although you should be aware that you won't be able to bring in much. Looking online, the 100 and the 120 are fairly old, in the sub-1GHz range for the SPARC processors. The pentium 4s won't bring in much either because they're CPU-based, but it's worth a shot.

The i7 + a 295 can bring in some money, but not a ton. You could throw and AMD GPU into it if you wanted to mine much faster.

Overall, if you throw enough hardware at this, you could bring in SOMETHING, but don't expect to make any meaningful income off of this. You'd probably be better of craigslisting the Pentium IVs.
