It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

This seems like FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) spreading as we have still to see a reputable member recreate the event. If you have more information then post it.

Did you use the CPU mining program by any chance? (minerd.exe)
