I'm just curious. Another thread talked about how much people had invested as a portion of their wealth, I just wonder how many coins the "average" person holds.

305 for me.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

.00001291 btc
.19 ltc
.50 trc

I'm not very good at this and just started:). Plus I'm using my laptop to mine:(... its a alienware so the cooling is fine but still gets me hardly anything. However, I'm using my laptop as I learn everything and then soon I'll get a custom GPU system.

Far fewer than I hold LTC, and far fewer of both than I'd like.

Portion of my net worth?  Well, that'll be negative on paper, so I'm not even sure how to quantify that percentage.  Tongue

If I've been able to help out, donations are always welcome.

I know what you mean Inelible and I hesitated before posting it but I'm just curious.

Pellefot - yeah, bought them quite early on. Actually sold quite a few quite recently and wished I hadn't.

"Not enough" - I'm sure we all feel like that. I think that bitcoin is going to be very big so we're all lucky to be in at this stage, which is still very early.

I think I have close to 0.4 BTC now after a few weeks of 24/7 mining, I'm happy with it. Smiley

Roughly 1 BTC, though most of that is tied up in LTC and TRC.  This is after mining and trading for about a week.

I would have more if this certain website would pay what they owe me...

But I'm not allowed to talk to them in this forum until I'm not a newbie anymore...

How is that for Grade AAA Customer Service?Huh

That sucks Watiingtobepaid. I hope you are able to get anything that is rightfully yours.

"1 satoshi"? Is that the smallest unit of bitcoin currency or do you mean that you have kidnapped Satoshi and are holding him for ransom?

My name was simply a play on "Blue Engineer" from Team Fortress. I am not affiliated with Microsoft or the Azure project.
