I'm just curious. Another thread talked about how much people had invested as a portion of their wealth, I just wonder how many coins the "average" person holds.

305 for me.

Far fewer than I hold LTC, and far fewer of both than I'd like.

I can't belive the crazy low numbers some people have. People care enough about bitcoin to register on the forum and still only have small fractions of bitcoins Huh Having said that I don't have very many myself. LOL

Because most people are still awaiting to get in on it! Some are scared, some dont know enough, some are curious. Having a specific amount of BTC dont mean anything really?

"can we ever have enough Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh"

A serious philosophical question. The Buddhists would say that desire can only lead, ultimately, to suffering. I say "screw that, Buddhists, I wanna mai bit coinz."

"I can't belive the crazy low numbers some people have. People care enough about bitcoin to register on the forum and still only have small fractions of bitcoins Huh Having said that I don't have very many myself. LOL"

Nothing wrong with having crazy low numbers. Those numbers will grow and its still an idea in its infancy. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoins and there are 6+ billion people on the planet. If bitcoin becomes big then those "crazy low numbers" won't look all that modest.

this seems like a bad idea to publicly state how many btc you own, most people use same username almost everywhere and probably password too. you are just making yourself a target for digital robbery. you wouldn't walk around in real life advertising how much cash you have in your pockets

I mined 0.02 bitcoins in 2011. I should have sold when it went over $250.
