True! there is a lot of confusion going around for August 1st but I believe no impact will come to anyone even if there is a chain split. 20% of miners are acting greedy but I believe eventually they will also agree to join Segwit after seeing the good side of it. I was telling people to buy more and more bitcoin when the price had gone down to 1900 USD level, now look at today's price, you will understand how much profit they would have got.

I myself bought some bitcoins during the price was running low and I am already sitting in a huge profit. People will have to think positive about bitcoin and then only positive thing will happen. There are a lot of people around who tries to discourage people from bitcoin because they want to buy it cheaper. Don't listen to them and invest in bitcoin. It will be rewarded suitably.

No there are only less number of bitcoin holders in panic and a big crowd for sure. That is the reason we are seeing big up surge in prices this week. I guess this trend will continue till August 1 so that we can pave path for bigger prices after August 1. We can be sure bitcoin price are going to rise again just in two weeks of time so this must be the right time to buy comparatively cheaper bitcoins.

No there are only less number of bitcoin holders in panic and a big crowd for sure. That is the reason we are seeing big up surge in prices this week. I guess this trend will continue till August 1 so that we can pave path for bigger prices after August 1. We can be sure bitcoin price are going to rise again just in two weeks of time so this must be the right time to buy comparatively cheaper bitcoins.

 You are definitely  wrong sir about the stable decrease of bitcoin.Everyone is waiting August 1 and after Segwit everything will back in normal. An effective technique is to convert your bitcoins into other altcoins because those altcoin can pump compare to bitcoin.

This is what we need first when we keep on holding bitcoin. We need to be calm and control our emotions. With your example, I'm one of those people that sold at $2,300 but wasn't able to buy back when the price went back at the lowest price. And right now the price of bitcoin now is increasing again because of the demand.

I knownafter this August 1 segwit occur, the bitcoin price will start to rise up again. As a Matter of fact this days, the bitcoin value is starting to rise again and it is getting stable. And after the success segwit the bitcoin will even more high.

Well I may be a little late to the party, but I still feel like I could make a valuable contribution to the discussion.

Firstly, for the people who don't know the price of bitcoin is determined by a couple of things:
- Supply and demand
- Media attention
- The dark net

Bitcoin has already recovered and I think this is due to a couple of things:
- More supporters for segwit and the hard fork
- The snowball effect

These factors rose bitcoin by 800 overnight!
