I dont know much but it "may" help to remove all nonessential parameters and add on more as you see it is getting the shares it should have?
Add one more flag every 20 min or something?\

I have many Gigabytes and while voltage locked I get about 600 to 650 each scrypt mining  they have served me well and do not have the same overheating issues of some of the other card I own.  They are great ofr scrypt mining but I prefer Sapphires for sha256.

new gigabytes are 1000mhz/1.25v , just install  r43 bios and its back to 1.09V/900.

than set clocks :
 1000/1250  - 610kh and waaaay cooler , less problems
or:
1100/1250 [1100/1500 on linux or bad drivers] - 650-660kh and still cooler than default

Install a different BIOS than it is supplied with and say bye bye to your warranty. Last time I tried rma'ing a card that I had flashed, Gigabyte refused warranty service.

Hm, yet they have BIOS's to download on their website. Not impressed with Gigabyte mainly because even F43 is locked to 1.09V and I reckon I could run at 900MHz (maybe more) at 1.0V but it won't let me.

Same here, exactly 643kh/s with gigabyte 7950

--shaders 1792 --thread-concurrency 17920 -I 19 -g 1 -w 256
1150 Core / 1500 Memory clocks
