So while reading for August 1st events, saw this link which says Bitcoins can dissappear on or for transactions on 30th July or 1st August. How truth is this, should one avoid doing any kind of transactions, and if he does what happens to the coins. Say for eg some one sends a transactions on 30th July with low fees and it gets stuck so what are the chances of it getting lost or will nothing happen and this is just another rumor. I guess we all will want this answers, and if it's true would ask you to contact whomever you send or payment to avoid using it.

The link https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/www.theregister.co.uk/AMP/2017/07/13/bitcoins_might_just_vanish_into_the_ether/

Choice is yours, let's hope we find a answer to this.

OP is talking about BITCOIN TRANSACTIONS disappearing. Not the whole Bitcoin network.
And yes, you should avoid doing ANY transactions during Aug 1st.

Thanks BIP148 freaks, we wont be able to use Bitcoin this summer. Litecoin anyone?

it depends on what is going to happen in the following weeks.

if the support for Segwit stays up and it activates smoothly then you don't even have to think about things like this. there won't be a split and you simply continue using as you were before.
and this has a high chance of happening.

if the support drops for some weird reason or there is a split then they say don't make any transactions by that date because of what is called "replay" and the fact that you may lose your coins on one chain not lose your coins entirely or bitcoin vanishes as a whole system!!. you can read the topic in beginners board written by theymos.
this has a low chance of happening by the way.

I don't think that. Because Bitcoin is a giant crypto currency. No chance to disappear Bitcoin Transaction. Bye the way, then I will avoid Bitcoin transaction those days. And, Thanks for the sharing.

It's more be cautious around those dates if you do not care about your forked coins continue as normal by all means but if those spent coins on the other chain acquire significant value someday no regrets. The input was spent.
Well it's still speculation lets just see what happens.

I also read that at this moment may be lost trades, but those bitcoins stored in the wallet is not going anywhere. Perhaps this will not happen, but I will not take risks. For me, it's not hard to live 1 day without transactions. Especially because of falling prices are now generally not profitable to make trades with bitcoin.

I also don`t think that, but I learned to be careful and I think its not going to be a big deal to chill couple days without any transactions, just for precaution. Its always better to be safe, then to be sorry later, and its not some long time period of waiting, its just day or two. This should not be a problem for anyone, date is announced, so everyone from here should finish with everything before August, and to have couple days free from bitcoin world, that is what I plan to do, and probably many other. I will live some coins in casino, just to see what can happen with them and to have something to play poker with, around 3-5 mbtc.
