Preferably sell the HD 6870, but might sell a HD 5850 for decent offer instead.

250 maybe. The card can almost touch 300 at its highest peak.
Also, with rebate they are $180 new

yea 6870 its 270 Mh/s stock its difficul to reach 300 Mh/s without being too hot ...

That is incorrect information.  With a rebate they are as low as 160 some places.
I have 8.  They all push 305-310mhps at 1000/300mhz with stock voltage.  That is not even bypassing the overclocking limit.  If i did that i'm certain I could push 320-330.  But I don't care about pushing my cards to the max.
If you only get 250, you are doing something wrong.
285 at the minimum stock, but soon as you overclock it will push 300 easy.
