Multibit HD looks like a semi-abandoned project. There is no wallet update since March, no blog post since November 2016 and there are lots of people on this board complaining about many different problems.

It is sad keepkey behave like this. Multibit was a very good wallet when Jim ran it and I have used it for years...

Do you think it is time to move my/our Multibit coins to another wallet?

Likely so.

A lot of the issues on github are left opened and unanswered. Given the current state of the client, it is unwise to continue using it.

You should move your coins to another wallet (Electrum would be the best IMHO). Its way to risky for anyone to continue using Multibit given the issues that are unsolved.

You can always return to multibit if the devs resolve all the outstanding issues. For now it's too unreliable to use. Sometimes you need to move your coins quickly and a bug could cripple your multibit wallet at any time. Even installing breadwallet and using your multibit seed in it can take up precious time, and people with a lot of coins might not like briefly risking moving them to a phone.
