Altcoin mining in chennai

I'm new here. Assume that I am less knowledgeable than you on this topic. I can spend around 50-1.5L for setting up a profitable altcoin mining rig on my own. I am not interested in buying one. My electricity bill isn't a problem.(Kudos to my college hostel) I want to gain the experience of building one. Kindly help me out on the motherboard graphics cards and almost everything. I am thinking of a 6 GPU rig. Am I thinking too much? Please do help
