They are probably taking all the loans from pre-orders to test them out to see if they can produce bitcoins before they ship them out (used and burned it)...  Grin

I think it is too late to order now.  By the time you got yours,  the difficulty is going to be too high.

If difficulty goes somewhere 170-200m by dec I dont see any problems.

I wouldn't order anything from BFL, they appear to be one big scam.  They haven't delivered on ANY of their products yet.

Better invest into asic chips diy.

+1 - That's how I got hooked onto this site.  As I could never purchase the chips solo.  Group buys appear to be the way forward.

BFL hasn't delivered anything substantial as of yet and in any case it is probably too late to order now

www.hosterbox.com - really good web hosting (accepts bitcoins)

I agree for too long delay...
But I dont get that general idea that it is too late to order now... speaking generally - order from anyone who can deliver. Difficulty will rise, sky rocket first and maybe then continue steady rising at reasonable level, but if you dont have asic... you need to get it quite soon or there´s no any share left for you. So, I think its not too late to order as the alternative is not to mine at all. And it still seems that $2500 - 5000 - 7000 priced 50 / 175 / 350 Gh/s miners will pay back within 2-4 months providing that delivery is aug / sept and maybe oct also fine.
