Which one is trustworthly exhange? All I used: hacked or legal troubles!

Which one is good & trustworthly exhange?

I got burned with bitcoin-central... they got hacked twice. However it seems that they will be back
and will refund all money / btc. But I counted on them as they was in cooperation with the bank.
But security was poor - maybe - seems inside job from hosting as slush also hacked and servers was
hosted by the same company.

Im fine with MtGox, but they got hacked at least once. They have yubi... but now they have also
legal dispute with Coinlab which scares a lot...

bitcoin-24 was great as long as it lasted... I was wondering how they can do it. Accept deposits
and no questions asked just great as it should be, but seems that it will not work in the real world.
Promised to pay BTC back... still waiting.

Now Im wondering which one to use... any suggestions?

How about Bitstamp? Im only worried about their banking arrangements and hoping that they will not
follow bitcoin.24

It seems we need really distributed open exhange, but it does not yet exist.
Meanwhile need to find trustworthly exhange.

I like Mt. Gox as it has a longer reputation than most sites.  The problem is there still isn't a perfect "secured" contender in the marketplace yet.  Any exchange will always be at risk for hacking/DDoS/etc.

Yes Gox is fine - Im just a bit worried about that legal dispute. But no bad word and only good experiences with Gox.
Anyway now I have learned at I need at least two active exhange account on different places as KYC etc procedures might take some time and sometimes conversions might be needed urgently. Too bad if your only exhnage goes in any kind on trouble at time critical moment.

Actually it seems that there is not too many alternatives after bitcoin central and bitcoin 24 gone "offline".

I've been considering CampBX, but I'll be looking into BTC-e as well.  Bitcoin is still to new, so I don't trust any exchange with any amount that I would find devastating to lose, nor do I trust them with any funds at all any longer than necessary.

Yes, I have learned that now. Somehow funny, two exhanges got hacked what I used - my bitcoins at least from those temporarily not available / returned. So, decided to start using Armory which seems to be quite good wallet software, but now it became unstable because of memory issues and cant get it anymore working. However they have announced that issue will be solved shortly. It seems that Bitcoin still is really new thing and infrastructure needs a lot of technical, security and usability improvements.

I prefer #bitcoin-otc. Many reputable sellers and currencies offered. Not suitable for day-trading though.

I use CampBX to purchase BTC and then do my alt coin trading on BTC-e.  So far I've had good experiences with both, but I can tell that CampBX is the more professional of the two.
