Highly doubtful.  As the original blog post states it's only a "wild ass guess".  The burden of proof is that of a tough one...

I'm sure if he is discovered to be the creator of bitcoin, he would be announced on every bitcoin new site and forums.  I doubt we will know who he is, he is doing good to keep his anonymity.

Interesting, I will be reading into this. I've always wanted to figure out who or who satoshi was so I've been reading articles like this for a while. I don't know if I ever will find out who he is, but its worth a try:)... guy creates a multi-billion dollar industry and we don't know who he is, few people wouldn't try to profit after doing something like that.

Interesting.  I wonder if there is any info that might shed light onto his political and economic beliefs.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Very interesting but he seems have been very busy with his math theory papers so I don't believe he had the time to create bitcoin. He also seems very focused on his work so it's not probable that he would have been derailed from his work and used his time to create bitcoin.

Perhaps, but everyone needs a hobby.

If he goes public he can be verified by his login on whatever account he used when developing bitcoin or by demonstrating a transaction from an early bitcoin address he owned that we can examine in the blockchain.
