Kekcoin Developer Update #7: MemeChain & SegWit

The update describes the current progress on the MemeChain as well as progress we're making on upgrading the core protocol.

As Alaniz has said above, we're very grateful to all in the community who are helping eachother/ promoting KEK. We're working hard on development and can focus more when the new-comers are helped by veteran KEK hodlers! We are looking to expand the market to other exchanges as the technology and market develops. These things take time however so all we ask is a little patience.

I was scrolling through CoinMarketCap and ran across Pepe Cash which I had never heard of then thought, I wonder if anyone has made a Kek coin yet and here it is. Been checking out this project and really like it. Seems like you got a good plan you even have a sensible coin max. Will be loading shortly.

Cryptopia BTW is a great choice for your first exchange since it seems like most buyers of off the beaten path alt-coins already have an account there. I certainly do.

Hopefully the Devs will do all they can to make this worthy to be the true financial instrument of The Mighty Kek. Cause if you do this is going to be huge.

It wasn't even 1 RAD, afair 0,1 was enough to make all necessary steps. This was just for verification.

Can any of the devs explain me, how is the difficulty factor for the network calculated ?

If the difficulty is 300000, does it mean each Kekcoin got the chance of 1:300000 to win the next block reward ?

Would be great, if anyone could explain me how the difficulty factor is determined.

Planning to build a online staking rewards calculator and would like to use the actual probability of finding blocks.

Also is there any API for an average difficulty ?

   I think the correct question is put about the increase in the number of exchangers. Today in Cryptopia there has been a tendency to reduce the value of the coins, but nobody is willing to give a coin for too low a price. This is a very good example for many of the coins that fell sharply down in this growth of bitcoin.
