I agree that they should do something better or more productive with their time but they're naive. These types of threads/questions are always annoying to me but some people are just worried and need re/assurance, but it's futile because nobody can ever give you an definite answer when it's to do with speculation. 99% of speculation threads are pointless and redundant to me anyway but people are never going to stop worrying or panicking or wondering whether bitcoin is going to hit that mythical price that is going to make them all rich.

You have a point mate. Newbies who just learn to trade don't know how volatile the price of bitcoin is. They just thought of buying some then sell later for profit. But that's not that easy. You have to learn and study how the market goes and to understand that the market is not always bullish. Those newbies has also the mentality that bitcoin is a quick rich scheme. And later they found out the hard way that it is not, so they panic the moment they saw bitcoin price is falling, then immediately sell it and exit. Then complaining that they are nervous, asking how can they recover, what they should etc.

I think you have made a troll post, seriously you are a member now and that means you have been here more than months, and you believe that legendary and all the higher ranked members care about some newbie coming here and saying hey folks it's ending and they would like oh shit thanks for the advice. For your records none of the newbies post ate ever considered valid or sat much thought is given, the legendary and high ranked members will only intervene when they feel he's badly informed, and every one been doing his bit, people do not like to listen about Bitcoins and it's a pain, if you missed there were many threads where we had discussed how to get family and others on Bitcoins. But it's not that easy. May I ask you, why you are here and not gone to educate people and realize first hand how bad it gets.

I was a BRAND NEWBIE when I first came to bitcointalk (I had bought my first BTC maybe a month before).  I have learned a LOT from various members, both in general reading and asking for specifics (in posts and via private messages).

So, while I am not even close to being a programmer or expert, I have learned a lot here.  Alas, I have not learned what is going to happen on August 1.

At first, why would they hang on a bitcoin forum and in subforum in reddit if they don't have knowledge about bitcoin. It's either they are holding a lot of bitcoins already and they just want to have some fun talking to other people and exchanging some ideas. Just forget about them and let's just mind our very own business.

That's a good piece of advice and I do believe that educating yourself and learning at least the basics of whatever activity you take up in your life be it business or non business one is a must but I would like to add that the members especially the legendary, hero and senior ones of bitcointalk do have a great knowledge of bitcoin and they can be as helpful as no book on bitcoin can be. I agree not all the members are that technically sound but some of them surely are. So in my opinion after you have the basic knowledge of bitcoin you can learn a lot from all these members here on bitcointalk.

Those newbies you are talking too are not actually just a complete newbie but there are some who are being created just to create a fud and shills/hype and going with the flow on the current trend of the market.Some of them are already high rank members who are just keep shilling on the community.Total newbies do really need to learn up new things on here on this forum since its the most essential place to learn up about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

yes you are right now a lot of people are aware of bitcoin and the properties of the bitcoin they do not need to get educated about bitcoin so much just a few instructions can help them know almost all the feathers about bitcoin, now we live in an educated ere and we can get whatever we want nothing is impossible now a days.

Yes i definitely agree from what you said. People who are using bitcoin should be more focus on cryptocurrency and bitcoin just wasting there time. They should be more productive and put all of there time working here if they really wanted to get rich so badly.

As far as my involvement in bitcoin goes this place has been fantastic for information, help etc. I've made a fair bit of money with bitcoin (most still HODLED) so I disagree.

It's difficult when people already fear about bitcoin especially when they heard ransomware.
Trust is not simple things to obtain but it can be help if goverment also join to take care the issue. For some country still not legalize bitcoin yet may need some time to being accept

If you can properly sort out the news from the fud and hype, this forum is a good place to start learning about bitcoin. I learned a lot from here. And do not judge the information because it came from a newbie, there are lots of hero and legendary members trolling the forum as well.

You are "Hero" not everyone 
Well jokes apart, forums are meant for people to clear doubts regarding any topic in most socialize and personal way. You have charts, data, google etc but what forum offers is personal opinions of different users thus helping you to draw combine conclusions.
No doubt, BitcoinTalk is mostly spammed on topics from sig spammers and random newbies but still you can't find most productive info regarding Bitcoin anywhere else than here.

This is a must for everyone. Many of the people here are just focused on earning Bitcoin and neglect all the information they can learn by staying in here. I literally experience annoyance about people asking me what are the signature campaigns in this forum. At first, I posted something on a facebook page regarding earning bitcoins through signature campaigns. I literally said that they must learn on their own but they keep on bugging me how to do it. They were so annoying so I did not answer anymore question about it.

People just want an easy way to earn bitcoin and do not educate themselves about it. That is why when a slight decline happens, they sell already. They hear/read about something they do not fully understand, they sell immediately. Pity.

People don't educate themselves they expect other people to do it for them. Now Technically when it comes to bitcoin education is comes from forums like this and also this is one of the trusted forms &  the most of the administration is putting out true information but with Bitcoin this is basically the type of education that they're going to have to go with it to get a good base foundation and then go from there.
