Do you atleast know what the transfaction fee is? I suggest posting the transaction id for more information.

Anyway, I haven't tried using that wallet. But if you can't change the transaction fees, I suggest changing to another wallet.

i am like 99% sure that it has nothing to do with fees. mempool has been empty and doesn't matter how low a fee you pay, your transaction should have been confirmed in less than an hour or a couple of minutes if you are lucky.

Multibit doesn't give bad fee suggestions anyways.

you either spent an unconfirmed transaction, or it was sent and confirmed but probably LBC never credited your account. (that is my guess unless i can see the tx ID)

There is a FOMO brewing...

Once you send a transaction with low fees, you must wait for it to be confirmed and when not confirmed p, they return the bitcoin back to your wallet, there is no way to adjust transaction fee after being sent.

We cannot give you solid advice without the transaction id or something to work with. How much did you pay for the transaction fee? If you made

this tx in the last week or so, it will not be the tx fee that are giving you the problems. I have done tx's with the minimum fee and it still went

through, because the MemPool is virtually empty, compared with the last month or so.  Wink Give more info, just blank out the personal info.  Roll Eyes

i assume you mean you are using multibit classic version 5.16. It's out of date and can send a type of transaction the network no longer accepts.

You can choose to upgrade to the latest version of multibit classic, but the maximum fee it can pay is often too low to get fast confirmations if the network's overloaded. The devs aren't likely to fix that problem, so you are better off switching to using the electrum wallet.

The latest version of multibit classic is available here.

First you should back up your private key from your multibit wallet. You can use these instructions to do that.

Start multibit, select the wallet containing your coins, then click "tools", then select "export private keys" as shown in the screenshot.

A new tab should open like the one below. Select "do not password protect export file" at the bottom of the window, then click the "export private keys button".

Click the windows start button, then copy and paste the line of text below into the search box that appears, then press the enter key to open the hidden folder containing your multibit wallet files.

%appdata%\Multibit

This is what your search box should look like after you have copied and pasted the line above into it.

Inside the folder that opens there should be a file with an extension ending in ".key". Open it in notepad and copy your wallet's private key. In the example file below the private key is the bit in red.

Quote
# KEEP YOUR PRIVATE KEYS SAFE !
# Anyone who can read this file can spend your bitcoin.
#
# Format:
#   <Base58 encoded private key>[<whitespace>[<key createdAt>]]
#
#   The Base58 encoded private keys are the same format as
#   produced by the Satoshi client/ sipa dumpprivkey utility.
#
#   Key createdAt is in UTC format as specified by ISO 8601
#   e.g: 2011-12-31T16:42:00Z . The century, 'T' and 'Z' are mandatory
#
KwUVsx4nd4UTHUtNTPnLEEqapCFvNiBrVASBZPa1ZvStQbUD87VK 2017-03-26T01:36:45Z
# End of private keys

After backing up your private key you can use these instructions to either sweep, or import your coins into electrum. Sweeping's probably the best choice.

http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#can-i-import-private-keys-from-other-bitcoin-clients

http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#can-i-sweep-private-keys-from-other-bitcoin-clients

Even the latest version of multibit classic is out of date. It's better to use electrum because it has an active dev.

Yes, you should do. If you sweep you only have to backup a string of words that you are given when you create a standard electrum wallet. They are called its seed words and are all you need to recover from a disaster. If you import your multibit private key into electrum you need to save a backup of it in case your wallet gets corrupted.

Screenshoot it, go to http://imgur.com create new post and paste your picture there, after that, you can paste it. Or for more details, you can right click your image on imgur, then "Open on new tab" then copy the link , use format

Try importing them into electrum instead. Copy them as a list into electrum as shown in this screenshot.
