unwatched topics still showing up in subs

I've unwatched a few topics and they keep updating in my subscriptions.  How to fix this?

Are you talking about the watchlist, or the "Show new replies" link?

Use the Watchlist, just forget about "Show new replies to your posts.".

Watch and unwatch is only for the Watchlist.

Directly under "Show new replies to your posts."

Also: Make sure you have checked "automatically watch topics I have posted in" in you Profile settings.

This is actually better this way, having both options.  Since a lot of boards only have regular subscriptions.  This is way better.

Yeah, finding out about the watchlist is always good
