If you look at the confirmed vs latest block you see that the time diff is ~6 hours. So first 6 hours you get nothing as the blocks mature. Payout per block is ca 17 (was yesterday, might be lower today already). So take your relative hashrate (pool was about 100MH overnight) so your share would be 0.004*17 per block once payouts reached your contribution and as it's PPLNS the first few blocks it would be smaller for you. So 0.7 YAC for 9h is not far off. You'll get plenty of YAC from shares still not mature. For me the pool paid overnight 577 YAC and got some 40 more on pool (I have payout at 50). So it's paying and it's paying very well. |

When did you mine in P2Pool? And could it be that the p2pool was lucky  With p2pool you will see payments immediately, they're just not mature until 520 blocks. Same here except you start to see them when they are mature. The hashrate for me predicts ~1350 YAC / day. I got yesterday in 21h ~1300 YAC (hashrate was also higher for a while) which sounds about right. Overnight I got another 600 YAC (~9h so again, about right). 17YAC would mean a whole block right now. It was 24 ~day before yesterday and 48 and 94 and ... it's dropped fast, seems to be a function of difficulty. I guess you need to think how many hours have you been hashing and how many of those have actually been paid out. Right now it seems the lag is ca 7h to get 520 confirms. Also discard first few blocks, their rate will be lower because of PPLNS. And you can look in the transactions. Do your payouts per block look about right considering your hashrate and pool hashrate. Expect the block to be worth about 15-17YAC. |

All - i have to sleep sometime... there was again problem with pushpool - issue with too many open files came back. Hopefully it is fixed now and i set up additional monitoring to prevent such situations

And one more thing - i made few optimizations on mysql level (previous version of scripts were killing cpu...) and also in system config - hope now will be without any outages.

Yes, this seems to have happened with the change in N that was scheduled for today. It'll be interesting to know if solo mining with minerd still works and it's only pushpool issue or it's the minerd issue.
