my share rate on http://yacp.coinmine.pl is less than half what i get on http://yac.coinmine.pl  with only a 13% reject rate yac.coinmine.pl is still a better option for me than 0 rejects but less than half the amount of shares on yacp.coinmine.pl EDIT actually i think its just the difficulty, 63 diff shares are quite boring for my 48kh |

actually i think its just the difficulty, 63 diff shares are quite boring for my 48kh
exactly - in long term you will have the same hashrate on both so don't look at shares number  |

I had to implement blocking of IP which are exceeding number of packets per second to limit abusive IPs. Changes are implemented on yac.coinmine.pl and yacp.coinmine.pl pools.
This should improve yac.coinmine.pl stability a lot.

Hey feeleep, what's going on with the hashrate stats on yacp.coinmine.pl? They all seem to be wrong and swing up and down wildly (for everyone, not just me). Has a new estimation algo been implemented or something? I can't tell if I /we are getting the correct shares now.
Also yacp website still doesn't work on iOS devices (none of the links work). Any chance you can look into that?

hey feeleep me again I've noticed the number of rejects on yacp has risen to about 10-11%, up from about 1-2% a few days ago. Any idea why this would be? |

so it is possible that for short period of time you will get ~5-10% of rejects due to some unrecognized problem with pushpoold. I am detecting such behaviors and restarting pushpoold to fix it (it seems to be the only way atm). Currently we have:
Pool Hash Rate 8.466 Mhash/s
Pool Efficiency 98.82 %
Current Active Workers 41
Next Network Block 116177 (Current: 116176)
Last Block Found 116165
Current Difficulty 0.80277084
Est. Avg. Time per Round 6 minutes 47 seconds
Est. Shares this Round 1,644 (done: 175.66 %)
Time Since Last Block 12 minutes 40 seconds
so its not bad.
Anyway I am working on implementing stratum for yac so it should resolve the problem completely.

I switched my miners to stratum and everything looked okay on my end. Shares were being accepted and my rejects were very low. However, I looked at the pool stats and saw that I wasn't finding any blocks for the pool. Considering how much hash power I have, it seemed like something was wrong so I switched back. |
