Nobody knows whats behind the scenes. Majority of ICOs will fail in some way.
I would say only 1 or 2 out of 10 will succed as a project in a few years.

Whether they admit to it or not, the fact remains that it has turn to scam and that is what we have in our hands. Although, it is really hard to believe that even ICOs that are not as having a team strong as CoinDash was able to make it successfully but I don't see it as the biggest in the industry because the effect is not even obvious in the scheme of things currently or because of the influence of August 1 has overshadowed any negative happenings.

Seems to have been a scam from the beginning. Read this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905500.0;topicseen

I even wonder of that ETH is really "stolen"

Not a good way to start in fact.I don't think the are a scam. But it doesn't inspire confidence as security should be top priority as for ICO and the development of the project. Good luck to them.

the team didn't implement best practices when the ICO launched, which resulted in this

They have already taken responsibility for it, but that's nearly not enough for anyone who lost real money

Even if they compensate the participants with tokens, they will be virtually worthless as there is to capital to back em' up

the beginnig is terrible, but i may hold another opinion that coindash is not so bad as it seems, website being hacked never happen before, it is obvious that the fund team does not prepare for this situation, and they promise the deserved token, maybe time will tell us.

What do you think are the best practices that they failed to implement? Can you summarize? Let's all try to learn.

Alon Muroch was lead developer for Getgems / PayKey, working with CEO Daniel Peled.

1200 ICO investors were scammed by those projects merely 1-2 years ago.

So that’s one best practice – don’t participate in an ico with a known scammer.

I think this project is unlucky and there will a great loss both in money and the market confidence, though many investor can still get their tokens, the future is hard to say.
