Not sure but it seems like there would be no dips again just like we did experience on last days price. Showing that there is a strong support of BIP 148 which would really tell or presumed that there would be no split on happening on those days but not all is rest assured. If you are sure on your decision then proceed but always that theres always comes a risk and you should really be prepared on that one.

there was no need to panic if you understand the bitcoin ecosystem and buying when prices are rising is never the best of strategies imo and going all in not the most prudent choice, good luck lad.

atm prices seem to have stabilized and trading anywhere between 2250-2400 ahead of judgment day (1 August) and i honestly do not think the fork will have a negative effect on the price as we shall get over it fast and move on to push market demand.

Yes,i think panic selling has almost stopped now.Just as usual,this time also,big whales had a delicious meal by grabbing bitcoins from newbies at cheaper price.Bitcoin once again to moon.No more FUD statements here after.

Segwit is already locking in today, thats why the price has risen so much. The next potential panic will start when they attempt the hardfork to 2 mb blocks in 3-6 months.

I do not understand why most of the speculators stay away when there is a panic and then come back and say "it is time to invest everything" just like what the OP is doing. The opportunity is to buy was days ago during the market dip.

Maybe they are one of those afraid butts of those past down thrends happened and now they realised that bitcoins is rising good that's why they are spreading some good facts right now. But if they really a real speculator that bought for the low price reached for last weeks happening then they must be earned thousands of dollars right now and smiling good with this current price rise.

It would help them a lot if they did not check the price of Bitcoin every minute. It is funny because some of them say they are investing for the long term but they keep checking the price every minute making them emotional.

With 93% + Segwit2x implementation. There is nothing to fear about Aug 1st. UASF will do nothing now and can be ignored. Segwit2x has successfully brought Segwit. Everything is back to normal. Now lets see what will happen after 2x hardfork that is scheduled after 3 months from the day of Segwit implementation.

I respect your opinion the miners are on their route(segwit2x), But the decision of the nodes(segwit) the deadline has not yet been closed, So anything can happen yet, So it has been said that the nodes must update to support segwit on here: https://bitcoinuasf.org/  so will be necessary to observe with attention the outcome of things in the days to come because  will be days of great expectations on the part of the members of the community.

Guess it is a bit too late now. I think investing is a good idea but I do disagree with the everything part. I wouldn't recommend investing all that you got. Diversify your portfolio and only then will you be less risky. Only invest what you are willing to lose since there might be a chance of you losing your money due to a freak accident, another benefit from diversifying your portfolio.

Prices have stablished so I don't think there will be a drop in price anytime soon. There will be no more chance for cheap bitcoin anytime soon it seems.

things are not over yet. price has just came back to its normal previous level before the FUD dump. there is still the activation of SegWit rise, so far we have seen the lock in rise there are still so many more hype-able rises.
and in general you see "great gains" in long term no matter what price you buy bitcoin at!

Yes it seems like everything has settled but not in reality we are still on stake till august 1. The price has reached to a good level and it is actually the real price of bitcoin where it should be but good to know that things are good and are going in a progressive manner. People who invested two weeks ago will be enjoying high gains in a little time. Even now is the time to invest in bitcoin, it feels like the price will grow bigger after 1 August.

Some people are still panic facing 1 August, the potential for a split, etc. will make them panic. Maybe the panic actually stops if the result from 1st of August is known and bitcoin rises again. Withdraw $ 3,000 and buying now is a very good choice, buddy. But it seems close to 1 August or even after that bitcoin prices will drop a few more before going up to the moon. So let's see what happens next.
