So I'm staying at my sister's house in seattle and I wanted to make some bitcoin withdrawals on my laptop.   The first 0.1btc withdrawal required 3 factors: password, code, and new device verification email.  OK, fine.    Then I submitted another withdrawal for 0.5btc which and they required 2 additional factors:  pictures of my driver's license and a selfie.   The camera on my laptop sucked so that dl+selfie verification failed like 3 times in a row before I decided to just take pictures on my phone and email them to myself.  Which defeats the purpose because email confirmation is already one of the 5 factors.   The iphone pictures worked and the 0.5btc went through.    Then 30min later I tried to make a third withdrawal for 0.6btc and it wanted me to re-do the same driver's license + selfie that I just uploaded.  Except it wouldn't even let me do that because "maximum attempts exceeded, try again in 24 hours".  That's just ridiculous.  If there was any question, it shouldn't have allowed the first or second withdrawal.  Requiring additional confirmation for the third withdrawal is ridiculous.   Now I'm stuck without any way to make additional withdrawals from coinbase for a while.
