The bitcoin protocol is great (GENIUS), but these improvement might give it an edge.
- If Zipconf could be added to it: this way you would theoretically have instant transfers
- If Zerocoin could be added to it: (Ps I don't trust the developers of zerocoin) maybe absolute anonymity
- If Scrypt could be added to it: Cpu based blablabla, no more need for ASICK. everybody would have a fair chance, now only the big bucks and big mouths talk, but this would maybe harder to do
If these can't be added to bitcoin, maybe litecoin or yacoin because they allready got scrypt
