Viberate has always been a community-based service. To give back to the community, we developed a reward protocol enabling users to earn VIB tokens in exchange for their contribution to the service.

The VIB token is the core unit of our service that we intend to turn into a go-to digital currency for the music industry in general.

The entire music ecosystem in one place

Viberate is the first service to cover all aspects of the live music industry. Our database includes musicians, music venues, events, booking agencies and event organizers. Our user group stretches from musicians and other music professionals to fans and the media. Our entities can use their profiles to easily introduce themselves to either the general public or a targeted audience. The profiles are also equipped with contact information that enables users to interact with one another and thus pursue different business opportunities.

The first ever blockchain-based live music marketplace

With the database and communication channels in place, our platform enables the implementation of a live music marketplace. Event organizers will be able to pick musicians on the basis of the social media metrics and book them directly through our service. The two parties will be able to review each other. The blockchain technology will be used to negotiate terms (smart contracts) and transfer payments (escrow).

On the platform, the organizers will also be able to sell tickets (via DApp) without intermediaries. On top of that, fans will be given a chance to sell their purchased tickets on a secondary market.

Never resting, always moving
As we’re constantly working on improving our service, we’re now tuning in with some updates that will provide greater transparency, give an extra security boost and help speed up the handling process. Let’s take a look at the changes.

Say hello to the SMS account verification
Up until now, users have only had to verify their newly created accounts via email. To provide greater security and grow a healthier user base, we’ve decided to implement an SMS verification as well. In practice, it means that upon registration, you’ll get a text with a PIN code to verify your account and complete the registration process. This way, we’ll be able to minimize the number of fake registrations and provide additional security. In the upcoming updates, SMS verification will be implemented for the transactions as well.


Faster transactions, better results
Speaking of transactions, there are some updates in this area too. As our user base has grown exponentially, there has been an ever-growing number of transaction requests, which is why we’ve decided to speed up the process by determining the minimum amount that you’ll be able to withdraw from your Viberate account and transfer to your wallets or exchanges of choice. The limit is currently set to 100 VIB. This way, we can provide a faster service and an even better user experience. Cheers to that!

Greater efficiency in building the database
Yes, we’ve made it happen. You ask, we listen. From now on, it won’t be possible to add artists and venues that are already in the database or pending, and the same goes for suggesting changes for their profiles. When you try to add an artist or a venue to the database, the system detects the links to their social media pages and prevents you from adding an existing entry. That way, you can minimize the time you spend contributing to the database and maximize your efficiency.

Huge marketing campaign running by bots but I don't like this kind of bump I also have this token but waiting for the right time when adoption of this platform will grow and more people will join this revolution. So we have to keep supporting this project but not this way.

Neither do we. These users are mindlessly spamming posts because we have a rewarding system in place and Bitcointalk forum is included. We're removing them one by one because this kind of spamming does more damage than good to our project. Our goal is for users to write informative, constructive posts.
