Funny that Viberate Founder & CEO does not know what his platform is about. In the article he claims it to be "live music platform", but i reality where is "live" on this platform? This is just a huge database with info about artists, venue and events.
Yes, you can listen "live", or better say "online" a short demo from spotify. Or you can watch a music clip - but still it is from YouTube.
Also just noticed, that this topic is named "Decentralized Music Talent Marketplace". What is Marketplace for? Viberate simply redirect user to a webpage where they can buy tickets for events. This doesn't mean that Viberate is a marketplace, it simply redirects...
You can be sure that our CEO knows what's his product is all about. We call it a "live music platform" because we are focusing on live music events and performances. By joining the artists, venues, and event organizers into this huge "database" we enable them to network, analyze, research, book a live show, and much more. You can say it's a marketplace for music talents. To be fair 'marketplace' indicates that something is being sold, but that is not the case. Which is also why the token is basically worthless. Database is fine, network is fine, but don't call it a marketplace unless you are actually selling something. |
