Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Segwit2x approval would be profitable. Its a good compromise between big blockers and segwit fans in my opinion. If people don't compromise they will destroy bitcoin.

What would be profitable for Bitcoin users?

The goal is to have SegWit, as long as the proposal could pass without making a chain split, It should be profitable for us, we don't want chaos and people losing their coins.

In my opinion Segwit2x will approve & It will be good for all bitcoin holders If they do not implement it, Bitcoin can be bearish.

I support it because we need it (scaling) and it is a compromis between different opinions, thats why it is supported that much.

Because of that I think that the price will rocket up and all investors make a profit

i don't know what you mean by profitable but about your approve or disapprove part of your question i have to say SegWit2x is 2 parts and you should not confuse these.

part 1 which is starting now is about activating SegWit, the same thing that has been waiting to be activated for a long time.

part 2 which won't start for some months (i am not yet sure about 3 or 6 months) is a hard fork to increase block size to 2 MB. that is new and different.

the first part is compatible with the rest of the network and it is a soft fork so you don't have to upgrade. and if you are running a Node it will recognize the fork.
but the second part is not. and many are against it. which may cause some troubles when its date comes.

There is a FOMO brewing...

Let's get something actually achieved for once and then we can go back to scratching each other's eyes out. Core types won't like something that didn't originate 100% from them from every angle. Tough titty.

What are you approving? What are others disapproving? The whole process is too opaque. Are they hiding something with their jargon? Developers need to explain to people what the Pros and Cons are.
Anyone caught breaking Bitcoin rules should be banned and handed over to the police for prosecution.
