You should know few simple rules in crypto trading;
1. Never buy any coin when they are pumping hard and are in peak price
2. Never sell your coins when market is dumping hard.

Yesterday, when most altcoins declined was the good time to purchase more cheaper coins, but today it seems arise from the dead after significant decrease. But, everyone still have the opportunity to buy bitcoin or altcoins as it should increase again at least recover to ATH of those coins, just wait for the end of this month and we would know whether it rise up or decline again due to hardfork that will be implemented.

A bit of a cliche but buy the dip and sell the high. Although you never know when its at its very low or high you can see that alts have dropped quite significantly already and starting to recover so I think now is a good time.

That being said you should also trade in the more stable alts with good features rather than picking them at random.

Since last week all the coins was done almost 30% and as a trader that was the best time to buy! You are still not late as you can still buy coins like bitcoin, Ethereum and ripple for long time big return. But before you invest you can try to study how altcoins market works at big exchangers trading platform like poloniex, Bittrex and c-cex.

These days are not the right days to enter the market. Prices moving a lot that might cause a big loss for you. You can just wait for the market to calm down a bit then try to find some cheap altcoins to buy.

You cannot get an all perfect day to buy and trade any coin. But it is always good not to touch market when most of the coins are falling down. It is always good to stay away and watch when a market is falling down. But you can buy other than falling markets. Raising or stable markets are good time to buy and trade.

Nah this is the best answer so far,
as a trader don't ever let your emotion take control because if you let it,he will devour all of your money into dust and here's the reason for both of them :
1.Never buy any coin when they are pumping hard and are in peak price
   Reason : Because the whale pushing the price for greater profit,many times we can see such a thing happened because they're accumulating more coin
   when the prices falling or sideway for quite time and when they pump it,it would be 2x~10x from average buy/sell.If you see an altcoin pumped from
   2x~10x average buy/sale that mean the whales want to get out of the ship (get out from that coin).

2.Never sell your coins when market is dumping hard.
   Reason : the whales want to surpress the price until he fills his bag,if they can monopolize it,they can push it harder.if you see an altcoin that have been
   surpressed into the corner and keep strugling likely he will get pumped soon

Better you see the price chart of coins your going to invest atleast for last 2 months . Then investigate on how the Pump happened and Dump happened . If anything Dumped without much reason then buy .

The best time to buy is when prices go down, that's because when prices go down buy altcoin becomes cheaper. And the best time to sell is when the price goes up, because if it sells when the price goes up it will definitely make a profit. Now is not the right time to buy because altcoin prices are rising, if you want to buy you have to wait until the price drops some. Patience is required here.
