Hab jetzt mal zum Spaß meine 1080ti für 2 Stunden Onion minen lassen.
Das lohnt sich ja überhaupt nicht. Hab jetzt 0.06 Onions das sind ca. 1 Cent in 2 Stunden.
In der selben Zeit hätte man auf Nicehash 25 Cent gemacht.

Ist halt Spekulation, du weisst nicht, ob ein Onion mal das 100fache Wert hat...

wenns rein ums minen geht gibt es sicherlich bessere coins als den onion. Aber ist doch cool wenn du 1-2 Wochen am stück minen tust bekommst du bestimmt einen ganzen Onion

Das mit der Wertsteigerung stimmt schon, aber es ist trotzdem effizienter, z.B. Nicehash zu minen und die so erworbenen BTC dann für Onions einzutauschen,
als direkt Onions zu minen.

Sofern man nicht einiges an Kpital ins Mining steckt ist der direkte Kauf des jeweiligen Coins meiner Meinung nach auch die bessere Alternative.

geht mir genauso.. wenns gut läuft circa 1 Onion, wenn's normal läuft zwischen 0.4 und 0.8 ansonsten hatte ich auch schon 0.03 (!).

Bei den Coins die ich kenne musste die Wallet im unverschlüsselten Zustand 'online' sein. Keine Ahnung ob das mittlerweile auch mit verschlüsselten Wallets funktioniert.

Die Wallet ist fürs Staken nur zum teil entschlüsselt. Es können keine transaktionen in dem Zustand durchgeführt werden, bevor man Sie nicht komplett entschlüsselt.
Die Option nennt sich "for staking only"

Dann bin ich auf diesen Thread gestoßen:

Wäre der Coin nicht ideal zum POS staken auf dem Pi? Schon jemand Erfahrung damit oder hat die Source (https://github.com/deeponion/deeponion) wer auf dem Pi laufen?

Allerdings kannst Du mit deinem derzeigen Rang noch nicht mitmachen:
