Hi Guys,

I have been following Decred digital currency for quite a bit of time. I have been participating in their weekly meetings frequently and seems like that's the best team I have seen in crypto world. They are extremely transparent and whole community works together for Decred's development. They have even implemented the lightning network with a smooth voting process. But I am wondering why Decred is still not picking up a lot attention and I feel like its market cap has not grown much compared to other good projects.

Is there anything that I am missing in Decred or is it just someone manipulating the price?

Can anyone shed their thoughts on Decred?

Thank you,
Coinenthu

As someone clueless, I have to ask about what makes it really stand out?

Proven governance process is what makes Decred special in my opinion especially when we see recent debates about bitcoin hardfork, ethereum debates and how long will it take for these established projects to come to an agreement

Decred has such a high barrier to entry because of its technical advantages over other useless crypto coins. People don't get it easily. It will take time. Think of it as bitcoin in earlier days. No one understood what it can do in the beginning. To me, its just matter of time. But oh boy, mark my words, this is going to be fucking huge some day.  Grin

It needs to be much easier to understand if they want to amount to anything. 90% of the population can't even comprehend Bitcoin.

Decred is hugely under estimated coin at the moment. It's going to eat the lunch of Dash and Monero in the future. Just watch out.

On chain governance is what makes Decred stands out.

90% is too low. 99.99% people haven't heard of bitcoin yet  Wink

Never heard about decred i think this two newbie accounts is same person trying to promote it.
Bitcoin is ultimate decentralized currency.

It needs to be much easier to understand if they want to amount to anything. 90% of the population can't even comprehend Bitcoin.
90% doesn´t know bitcoin exist . Or more than 90% .
But 10% that does, in this 10%, 90% don't comprehend bitcoin at all.
Bitcoin needs time and knowledge to understand why it is so special and why it is revolution.

Knowledge is power.
