Hi,

does somebody here accept Paysafecards[1] in exchange for Bitcoins?

I'm interested in the anonymous aspects of Bitcoin -- I was very happy when I saw mybitcoin.i2p! -- and figured that those Paysafecards should be a pretty good way for exchange. It's certainly not worse than cash in the mail I would assume.

Do you guys already have experiences with this method?

Cheers

Hi,

thank you for making the effort to find those threads for me. I found them before but they didn't quite contain the answers I was hoping for.

If I were to interpret those threads, I would say Paysafecards have hardly been used -- the exchange service even disappeared -- and it took you, specifically, from July to October to sell that 10 Euro card. If that's correct, that's really too bad.

Maybe I'll just give it a try anyway though. Until then I'm looking forward to a few (more) assessments of PSC. If there is no real experience yet, maybe we could still discuss Paysafecards with regard to anonymity.

You were interpreting my post in the correct way.
I thought the interest would be huge (anonymity and stuff) but unfortunately it was rather sporadic.
Maybe because of the lack of USD-cards.

I can't find an easy way to convert PSC to money, except for sites that do PSC -> PP like http://www.paysafecard2webmoney.com/paysafecard_en.html but I'm not sure these can be trusted... anyone has experience?

Still, if you want to try this out and are willing to cover that exchange rate, why don't you drop by #bitcoin-otc http://bitcoin-otc.com/ and make me an offer? I'm willing to give it a try for a small amount, and if all goes well we can talk larger deals.

Try MoneyStream. They'll do PSC -> LR$ and I've used their service many times. Their English is bad (they're Russian), so be forewarned! lol

Heh, €10 -> LR$9... that's even worst. But again, if that is taken into account when making an offer, I will buy PSC for BTC Smiley
