This forum has become a cesspool, full of scammers and FUD. It was bad before, but it's gotten way worse over the past few days.

Whats with all the self-moderated topics lately?   

For false transaction threads like "buying 1000 frankos/royals or whatever for 1000 BTC" and right after "thank you, great transaction" so people could believe that this new alt-scam is worth something.

Self moderated topic option should be disabled really, no need for it.

that's true. My rep thread is self moderated and i REALLY regret that now, it makes a dodgy impression. I did it because I was afraid it would be trolled, but that never happened.

It's also for trolls, so they can make troll posts and then delete responses they don't like.  I wonder whose idiotic idea this was.

Yeah, people are using it to manipulate threads to their own agenda. I just ignore anyone that uses it now.
