How does betting work in STOX?

Do markets lock at a certain point - say, when the game being bet on goes live?

Say I want to make a market on what player will be MVP next year.

Options are Lebron, Harden, etc.

What incentive to bettors have to bet NOW and not wait until the very last second before the event locks/ is settled?

I see a mention of "fluid predictions" - can more info be shared?

I see there was some AMA about this in the past but the answer doesn't make sense....

Here is how it works in Augur.

Basically each event is a tradable share market so you have the benefit of cashing out anytime.
