If you holding to next year, I think not need buy Ethereum you still earning a huge profit too, because in present just is bearish time on market and Segwit2x from Bitcoin make mentality of trader always scared! Buying at now and holding not bad idea with people have good funds and free money

Right now its best to keep it for yourself than investing in ICOs. There are only some ICOs which are actually serious about their project and have dedicated themselves for the investors.

Ethereum is still alive.

There are so many ICO's built off the Ethereum's blockchain. So I'm assuming if one of these ICO's blow up then Ethereum will go up as well. Is that a fair assumption?

I think it is worth to invest to it but before you decide, make sure that you know what you are in to. I think you must read more about eth gor you to know if you really want to invest to that. Eth have a potential but bitcoin is way more great than it. But is up to you to make a choice.

Totally agree on this, if you are a beginner this is the right thing to do. Even if we are talking on other alternative coins, it is really worth reading or conducting research first in order for you to understand the complexity of the cryptoworld.

I don't think so its right time to invest in Ethereum. Do some research about top 20 coins & their roadmap after studying this plan accordingly which will give you better return I would advice you to invest in stratis, waves, Sia, ripple & Monero I think
these coins will give you better return instead of Ethereum.

If you would ask me then the only altcoin that is worth investing is ethereum. It works with bitcoin and depends on its volatility to rise in the price. If you see the trends in the history explorer then have got shoulder to shoulder similarity in rise and fall. So yeah it's a good altcoin to invest in and the only one according to me.

Try joining in a bounty campaigns that gives you eth as a payment, that is where you will start gaining eth and investing it. Buying it is not a good idea because the price do not goes up just like bitcoins.
