Devianttwo, pool is so messy I can't even understand what's the right host:port. Could you please clarify?

Updated the page. Thats what happens when you copy past Web files from PWC to ELC.  I forgot to update the index page but the get started page has always been correct.

The following error shows up everywhere, is it normal?  "Notice: Undefined variable: totalOverallShares in /var/www/elc/statsAuth.php on line 296"

Thats an error on the ELC page. its because ELC isn't released yet!

Milkshake, please, pay attention to this post.

Would be much-much better, if you post all clients/wallets 5-10 minutes before first genesis block starts. This will made impossible to have a distinct advantage of you as a creator and all your group of friends. Because if you start genesis block and write a message with links to wallets/clients - when others prepare their systems to mine you and your company will dig as a crazys because of no competitors to you.
Another important detail to others - is peer/nodes distribution. As i seen on all previous coins for that week - first nnnnn blocks are hard to mine by community because of lags, even that peoples have a very large hashpower. Starting blocks and difficulty makes huge hashpower useless against lags. So you need to start nodes all around the world to be the honest (i suppose that downloaded and started wallets in prepare-mode will be enough to make net of distributed peers).

First - give others mining instruments/clients, second - give others the opportunity to compete in equal conditions, third - launch genesis block.
Then your coin can be successful. In opposite - this coin will be as others dump&pump&die-coins.
Good luck.

PS: i think i will be out of competition because of other side of planet and too big pings (55-300ms). It's fatal.
Genesis block hash must be included in wallet binary, so there is no way to "post all clients/wallets 5-10 minutes before first genesis block starts".

Does anyone have any suggestions on what should be added to the website?

So first blocks until real miners come will be "premined" after launch without competition. Too bad. As i've seen from other coins - blocks are flying like the bullets from gattling gun..

I'm not so sure. How is he a scammer? Did he still anyone's items/coins? Should we be careful? Of course. This allies to everything online. However, I think calling him a scammer isn't accurate... Time will tell though Smiley

First block can't be spent, and no coin can be launched without genesis block, so this is not a "premine". And Milkshake said difficulty will be non-zero, so no zerg-rush this time.

Milkshare you can release code with fake genesis for peer review and then re release with genesis when its time to open Smiley This way you can gather so many more miners, unless you are btc fan who wants to pull a joke at altcoins Cheesy

Lol coins that give you higher reward the more hash you use Cheesy The one way to do it is to increase reward after diff reaches certain level perhaps so all who mine early get less Cheesy

Milkshare can also release the correctly compiled binaries with the genesis block hours before the launch in encrypted form (rar, gpg, whatever). He can give the password at launch time. This way nodes are already configured and good to go. Hell, pools could be setup and waiting to unwrap their daemons to attach to pushpool. It's sad nobody does this

AAAaaand there this coin died along with ANY reputation that 'milkshake' had. Looking forward to precompiled QT full of keyloggers and trojans at minute 'zero' that ton's of JR members will download and run, only to realize 5 min later that their identity is stolen along with all their wallets.
