Strange, but now the price is only growing. My opinion is it should drop to $ 2000 and stay low until August 1. While bitcoin shows amazing durability. This means that the credibility of bitcoin is very high and he is not afraid of any cataclysms.

Look at bitcoin prices currently reach 2600USD. If you look at it right then it seems to be a significant rise, but we should continue to pay attention to market bitcoin because it is not impossible bitcoin prices could have fallen more deeply as happened a few days yesterday. This is all sometimes like heaven and sometimes also like a nightmare.

Woooaaa. I saw a couple of minutes ago the price is only at $2,400 and now it went $2,506. I guess we will able to see the price of bitcoin $2,600 within 24 hours. And once the price went up that high we will be able to see the price of bitcoin falling again and will be stable at $2,000 after August 1. And with August 2 it will skyrocket.

Yes, and bitcoin price seems in rally again, has been increasing over $200 within hours, no doubt it caused by segwit2x will be activated soon. Look like I made a mistake, I should vote for over $3000, lol , how fast it rise make me anxious, when they will sell again if people in hurry to buy it right now? We will see how it will be after segwit activated, but I'm sure bitcoin price will rise significantl, just like litecoin in last few months ago. I'm wondering how much bitcoin could achieve after 3 years later if halving happen Maybe could reach over $15,000 I guess, if bitcoin has steady increase every year.

Two days before itself bitcoin's value changed from 2000$ to 2300$ yesterday. Now price the 2500$ or even more. Still the people fear about August 1st due to reduction of the bitcoin and whales want to stack the bitcoin in some places. Then they can increase the fees and value deduction also will happen. Please hold the bitcoin till next year. No one can't shake bitcoin.

I also was expecting Bitcoin to drop down to 2000 / sub 2000 levels again, but with the recent jump to 2500 I'm not so sure anymore. It actually looks like the train is leaving the lower 2000s for good this time...

I started to do some trades with BTC only a week ago
Thus I have not much on the exchange but I managed to buy @1890 but then sold @2150. I am mainly trying to trade small amounts and to lock small profits just to get feeling of market.

But now I see that I have chosen quite turbulent time to enter the market... and it is quite hard to swallow tons of info considering also BIPs, SegWits and other stuff.

I am fairly sure that it is due to the fact that Segwit is very likely going be to locked-in, within current signal period that has only 80 blocks remaining. Next logical step is another round which will then make sure that Segwit is FINALLY going to ACTIVATE. I can't surpress my excitement as this is what we all have been desperately waiting for!! Regarding OP; I am going to be fully optimistic, and go with over $3000 (obviously, only if Segwit gets really locked-in).

Still 56 blocks needed for a lock-in bip91 and price now more than $2600, if slushpool or f2pool join and signal bip 91 price will more high, and if bip 91 lock in, price will be more high. its possible to hit $3000 in the next 24 hours.

i get what you say, and things are very hard to understand for me too from time to time. the information about these BIPs,... are all scattered and usually filled with a lot of false information and FUD

if you are only interested in trading and making profit then you are already doing things fine. buying in the dip, reaching a profit limit and securing that profit.

just continue this way and don't get emotional, you'll be successful.
also remember that having some investment in bitcoin for long term never hurts even if it is a small amount.

In the beginning i did not believed in BTC (or any other crypto currency) future, but after I checked how many resources were spent for past years and being spent now I fully realized that it wont just vanish.

Basically I am interested in both - holding and trading (again both, short and long). But to hold i need smth to hold, and this smth i want to get from trading.

Btw, I was wrong and glad to see price continues to pump, cause bought some @2500

Regarding the actual positive movement, i expect the bitcoin price will be between $2600-2800 in the next hours.
Meanwhile, in the next days, it is hard to predict anything, hope it will continue rising
