Buy rumors sell news. That is one of the best trading strategy that i use in trading altcoins or even bitcoin because that is very effective for me and it just need a good rumors or not confirmed as a real one but you can start buying coins even it is just a rumor because if the rumors will spread in the different kind of sites like social media then the price of that coin will go up too even it just a rumor and if its a news now then just sell from the top and do the same thing again.

the basic of trading strategy is buy low, sell high. its for every coins in the exchange. you need to learn about trading, how to analyze the chart, how to determine how deep if its down or up, how to make prediction for a long run and everything else. once you learn step by step, i am sure that you will be able to make a good profit. but yes it needs time before you are mastered it and the best thing that you must do is keep practicing for what you learn until you can make profit.

I quite like this, generally. There's always rumours in crypto though, it's more risky than stocks.

Buy low sell high, is always mentioned - it annoys me when people say it on here like its revolutionary, and like we really know what low and high are in the crypto space. It is true though - I always look to buy a coin off the back of it taking a beating and IMO being undervalued - if it spikes off news or a rumour or whatever, take ZEC a few months back - I get out.

I'd revise it to something like - Buy dump, sell pump.

First of all you need to stop your feelings of greediness , because when any coin is growing fastly then we usually get addicted toward that coin and thinking and dreaming to make lots of money . Because here my experience in the trading saying that don't make buy of those coins which are increasing rapidly .
So here question by you that which coin we should buy ? , Here my answer for you that don't make experiment in the trading and only follow the basic concept of trading .
Buy only those coins which have better reputation and potential and famouse and down by price in the market  and then wait until it get up .For such types of coins it is easy to rise the price because they are at low and everyone have better faith with that coin .
And second basic concept for you to don't buy those coins which have high speed of increasing price because that types of the coins are not safe to buy because that can be pump also .

IF you are asking for a strategy, then follow this strategy which i am sharing now. Basically i dont share my strategy for free,but i am doing here.

So this strategy is called NEWTONS's METHOD and it just need a candlestick chart of that particular script and some drawing tools like Horizontal line and nothing else. The newton method is constructed on failure of breakout and breakdown. You can just go to youtube and search for Newton's method there,you will find it under Trade academy channel. Its a free video but the strategy is awesome and working good for me in trading cryptocurrencies. What is most important for me in bitcoin trading is the trust in bitcoins and then confidence in his skills. Life of a trader is not an easy one. Lol i am tired hearing about this troll , buying low and selling high isn't a strategy at all.
You need to understand well about basics trading situation such as there's a bubble market or panic market.
That time you should decide to buy when the market started bubble after the panic market situation happend , timing is the key here and you have to keep training.

The popular strategy that I am using is I buy when the price is low and I sell when the price is high. I prefer to you to use also that strategy for you to earn big amount of money.

1-) For ethereum: Buy ethereum from $300-340 and sell them at $380. And if it declines down to $300, buy once again to sell at $340-370.

2-) For bitcoin: Buy some now, forget it for 6 months at least, and you can sell them around $6500.

3-) For waves: Buy some with the current price, it can be $30 in 2 years.

You've got your answer already. The problem is that you buy altcoins when they are too high in value. That is opposite to the basic rule in trading which is buy low and then sell high. That is what you should do next time. Try to buy during dips if you can. Avoid confronting the charts with your emotion.

You've got your answer already. The problem is that you buy altcoins when they are too high in value. That is opposite to the basic rule in trading which is buy low and then sell high. That is what you should do next time. Try to buy during dips if you can. Avoid confronting the charts with your emotion.

before we buy, we need to analyze the coins and we must know how much price we want to buy to avoid or prevent from the down. but if after we buy the price is down again, then the only one we can do is we don't sell because of panic or we can buy more in lower price and waiting the price is back. I am suggesting to not invest in the ico, its better if you do trading because the chance for you to make big profit is wide open.

I have two strategies, one for the short term and another one for the long term. For the long term, my strategy is to Buy and Hold. I will buy and then forget about it, maybe go back to it again after how many years and see how is it going. For the short term, I buy low and sell high. Wait for the price to come down, buy it, and then sell when it goes up. But of course, long term investment needs expertise in fundamental analysis and short term investment needs expertise in technical analysis.
