You will need to buy Bitcoin and send them to your address.

Do you legit think anyone will give you $1 for free? Bitcoin IS MONEY and not a playing currency.

If you really want to buy Bitcoin, read this: https://www.weusecoins.com/en/how-buy-bitcoins-online-best-bitcoin-exchange-rate-bitcoin-price/

Do you have this in coins (cash)?
If you do, then you would need to first buy some bitcoins and have it transferred to your blockchain account address. You cant just sit around and hope that the $1 will disappear and magically appear in your wallet.
It also depend where you are situated as there are designated 'ATMs' in the USA that are specially designed to allow people to buy bitcoins that are instantly sent to their wallet. You could use that if you have one of those machines somewhere around you. Also, you could visit bitcoin trading websites that allow you to trade bitcoins for cash (usually wired tranfers).
