and unless OP stated he would not use an alt account to bid up the auction than he is free to do so
Just because 99% of you all here follow "respectable" auction rules doesn't mean that anyone HAS too.
Oh my.
Shill bidding in auctions is a major no no. He may be "free to do so", but people who do such things should be negged to hell. I am NOT saying that the seller has done this, so lets make that clear - I am simply stating that bidding in your own auction is essentially fraud - and if you do it and get caught, don't expect any respectable user to ever deal with you again.
I agree.
So then by that logic, no one should deal with TMAN than correct? Because
(quote from OGnasty)
"TMAN used minerjones to anonymously auction a KIALARA and then attempted to manipulate the auction by stating, "wow this has to be a record low for a sub #100 serial. if I didn't have so many I would be snapping this up"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1931778.msg19286369#msg19286369Admission it was his auction:
"Dude I haven't crossed paths with OG in over 6 months, it wasn't until he derailed my auction hosted by MJ that this kicked off."
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1946142.msg19349060#msg19349060"
just because you are spending so much time in OG's crotch doesn't give you the right to go bringing me into these things. I did not and would not bid in an auction of my own, the fact I hyped it is the same as any cas owner hyping a cas coin auction..
you on the other hand suffer from all 7 major kinds of retardation and are a blight on this sub forum...
Not really, the reason why you didn't bid on it than would be because you owned it, not because of its low price.
Last time I checked its not "fourm" rules, that when an auction ends, it ends, unless otherwise stated an auction is just a tool used to negotiate price.
It's common sense to stick to rules set in an auction OP.
and unless OP stated he would not use an alt account to bid up the auction than he is free to do so
Shill bidding is frowned upon and reason why people have received negative trust in the past.
Sure they are free to do so, and others are free to leave them negative trust as a result.
Just because 99% of you all here follow "respectable" auction rules doesn't mean that anyone HAS too.
Like you, right?
Are you arguing for changing auction terms and shill bidding because you make frequent use of both?
@OP:
fair is to honor
your rules.
You are spreading false information by saying I use shill bidding on my auctions because if you look at any/all of my auctions every bid has been from reputable/well known members
Could you give an example of 2 auctions of mine where I changed the terms of them? No you cannot because its only ever happened with 1 auction I have had.
