I guess the only contest you can do with such game is related to wagered amount.
User who wager most (maybe the one who win/lost the most) will win some reward or alternatively can win the user with most win/lose streaks.

I think you can take a contest example from some dice gambling sites because this game is almost the same as dice game that only have a slight differences so you do not have many options to made a contest.

Well you can check all depositing/playing addresses. Then announce/pay the wining one. This would require people to use same address repeatedly which is not convenient. So other way is to ask participants to provide all their addresses and prove owneship (by signing message eg.) and then announce the winners. (thinkinig it twice ... Im affraid this would not be fully transaparent and fair as multiple users can colaborate claiming they are one person ... but thats actually not a big deal for you as your target is to attract users right? )

Ofcourse, let people play without registration! Just set an option for them so they can register and participate in contests

It's pretty unhandy and I agree with the idea to register those who want participate in contest. Good point. To take it more into details the entire process could be automated by some script and OP could make interface to ease users proving the ownership ... still not entirely smooth but could work. @OP Can you explain how did you calculate the house edge? I'm not an expert in this but would expect to receive 1.99*my bet if the HE is 1% ( you offer only 1.98*my bet ).

1.98x is 1% house edge. 1.99x is 0.5% house edge. Google for more... OP, you 1st need to add bitcoin and then may be a wagering contest will be the best way to promote your game. But with escrow of the prize. Otherwise nobody will participate.

Right now I only see two options here. Highest wager or highest wins in a row. Of course the last one is luck based, but so it's the game, so at least that one things would be more "fair" to everyone I guess, instead of just seeing who has more money to spent. Of course that guys with more money to spent have a higher chance of getting a higher wining streak, but some lucky user could still beat them, so I prefer that.

Create an easy to use provably fair dice game. Player who rolls 88.88 with min bet amount 0.00001 BTC wins the jackpot which immediately goes to their account and they can withdraw.

You can do free bets. There are plenty of ways you can do it, like if it is their first game and post their IDs and the transaction on a thread for games and rounds. You will refund them if they lose or just give them what they deposited even if they win or lose. Or something like that. Usually that is the promotion similar games do for their players.

But with escrow of the prize. Otherwise nobody will participate. But it makes no sense. According this logic the 1.5x payout would be 25% HE and 1x payout would be 50% HE ? How come Theoretical max HE should be 100%. Thats why I asked how it is calculated as I have no experience and just tried to apply common sense. I did some quick googling and found this formula: House edge = 1 - (return / loss) (source) which gives me -98% ( assuming this number reflects the 2% HE). Feel free to educate me.

Profit contest is also a good alternative if you don't like doing a wager contest. Win streak contest is another good one there could be more but for now those two are the only contests I can think for your odd even game. -snip-
It's correct their house edge is set at 1% because they reduce your chances of winning/lossing from 50% to 49.5%. 49.5 (losing chance)+49.5 ( winning chance) + 1(house edge) = 100

It's correct their house edge is set at 1% because they reduce your chances of winning/lossing from 50% to 49.5%. 49.5 (losing chance)+49.5 ( winning chance) + 1(house edge) = 100 This is applicable only to dice type game where you are able to choose your win chance which is reduced to keep the HE ... instead of regular 50% (would mean 0%HE) it's lowered to 49.5. I understand that. But in OPs game the win chance is fixed (5 even nrs, 5 odd nrs ... so its 50:50) and the only thing he can adjust HE is by amount of winnings. Moreover there is very, very small probability the result hash will not contain any digit ... what happens then? ( I know it's almost imposible to happen but should be clarified as well ). @OP Why are you not reacting to my question? You should be able to easily answer how you come up with 1% HE. I started to feel you don't know. Please show me the applicable formula for HE of your game.

One contest i would love to play is the most wagered contest and it should run for max 2 weeks as only the rich gamblers are able to wager the most. Next contest which yolodice had kept few days ago should me most profit contest as many less players are able to control so this can be a good opportunity for them

You can create wagering contest but it won't work in blockchain based game. Users need accounts for that and you need to allow deposits in order to run any kind of contest.

Can you add which odd/even numbers one won/lost with. then launch a contest like, those who win 2 or 3 times with the same odd number (5 for an example) will win the prize/contest. makes sense?
