In the summary tab of GUIMiner, it shows 2(2) in the accepted column.

I've seen in many places on this forum that, when doing pooled mining, those numbers have to do with shares and the blocks your pool has generated.

However, I was not doing pooled mining - I was testing solo mining for about 2 hours (with a rather low hash rate), and it is about as likely that I found 2 blocks as it is that I won the lottery.

So since that can't be what this means, what in the world do those numbers mean?

It also shows "Difficulty 1 Hashes 2" in the main GUIMiner screen.

Thanks for your help!

You didn't find blocks. It means the same as when pooled mining I believe.

I just tested out a solo miner on my computer, and got 2 shares in a about a second.

The same as pooled mining...? So I have shares of... what?

Or you can explain to me once more what it means for pool mining, if that is the case?
